Sich  (pronounced: seech)

Definition 1:

(Ukrainian) A sich is the administrative and military centre for the Ukrainian Kozaky. It is derived from a Ukrainian word meaning to clear a forest for an encampment, or to build a fortification with the trees that have been chopped down.

(Canadian) A Winnipeg based dance band specializing in Ukrainian and other ethnic music.  Each of the five members sings and plays a variety of instruments. Together, they provide an entertaining blend of dance music. From Polkas to Pop and from Country to Rock, Sich is live music at its finest.
